The lights swirled inside my head. A beautiful voice in the dark said; I've come to take you home;
I realised that I'd stopped breathing; literally, and then started again.
My heart beat faintly. Disorientated, i didn't know where home would be....
....and i still don't.
But am here, and it looks like Life is all the same.
Thank you to the Beautiful Voice.
Back to Work, then.

Ever wondered why Life seems to go in circles sometimes.....the same situation presenting itself again and again in different wrapping paper?
I believe that we are here, on Earth, to evolve our Being to our former Glory, and that we have chosen, in Spirit, our destiny.
Destiny is the path we take to fulfill our potential in Life.
We have the freedom to choose to do so or not, and we are capable of making mistakes which lead us off the path, temporarily or permanently.
But it will happen that once one recognises their destiny, it will seem so fantastic that no-one would want to choose otherwise.
The point is, Life presents us with the lessons we need, have chosen, in order to reach our destination....and if we fail to learn the first or second time, we will indeed find ourselves living a repeat until we do learn and move on ....with a new skill or new knowledge, new wisdom etc.
As in school, if we are called to repeat a lesson, odds on, we have previously made an error. Unlike school, we ourselves have to find out what and where that mistake was.....and then we have a choice, to go with what we know, in the safe and warmth of our erroneous comfort zone, or dare to choose to move on into the unknown.
Forget what you 'know', and know that the 'unknown' will soon become known.

Choice Moves
We all have the Freedom to choose.
When we come from a position of Love
we choose the best for All
but we are under no obligation to lose out ourselves.
Some of us have difficulty making decisions
but when you realise we are doing so all of the time
then it may become easier
each moment of each day presents choices;
most of which consist of the choice to act out of Love or not;
if someone does you wrong, you have a choice whether to retalliate or to keep your peace.
if someone asks your opinion you have a choice to point out the positive or the negative, honesty doesn't have to be brutal...
Our choices each day
lead to the 'reality' we perceive
we know that others see things in their own way
so do we
that is because we have a choice
the things that seem 'automatic' where there seems to be no choice
are actually chosen on a sub-conscious level by our Self.
and when we recognise such, we are then in a powerful position to say no to the sub-conscious and move into the conscious.
It's the sub-conscious who forms habits and it takes our conscious effort to break them....if we choose to do so.
If we choose to do so, then we awake from our former Self, and begin to really live life with renewed energy, more enthusiasm, and new ambitions.
Truly, to be in control of our behaviour, our emotions, and to make conscious choices rather than knee-jerk reactions, is always of benefit.
So, in order to make big decisions, we need to master the small choices, it's not so much weighing up the pro's and cons as it is engaging our full consciousness to the matter....without which we are 'missing something', and the choice seems impossible.
If in doubt, do nowt' - if the choice is a matter of your chosen destiny then it will come back and present itself to you again.

All In The Mind...Surrealism
The first vision/picture i painted in my adult life was in 1993
A friend had sent me a postcard from Glencoe, Scotland
and i decided to paint a random, ancient Scot.
In my mind's eye, i saw him, sword and all, at the foot of the mountains
and so i began to paint
i chose at random, an aesthetically pleasing red and black tartan for his clothing and fancied his name to be Conall Nae Fear
...The music i listened to was Highland Laddie
and scribble away i did, quite happily.
Soon after, i found myself in the homeland
where my father informed me that that tune was infact not Highland Laddie, but The Campbells Are Coming, you uneducated wretch!
Not my fault if they never sing the words...

So, I find myself in a library with a Name Origins book in my hand, researching someone's family crest...
Let's just see if 'Conall' is a real name then
Yes
it is
it means Strong As A Wolf and is the predecessor of Mac Donald
...whose battle dress, so the book will now tell me, was the same Red and Black tartan
which they wore
whilst being slaughtered in Glencoe
by the Campbells, don't you know!
Well, so much for random!
This uneducated wretch just freaked and destroyed the painting.....hadn't bargained for all that....not back then.....
Here's a pencil re-run of the original warrior, the first guardian/spirit guide i had.

I know I said I do not bet on horses
but i just happened to be looking at the race-cards on Saturday
when i saw horse called
Special Portrait......
well, wouldn't you?
I did
He came home at 20-1
Thank you very much
That doubles my earnings this week
(Not many special portraits from the Studio just now)
The best thing was
The night before the race
I had a vision in which I met a white horse
whom 'someone' had seen in a vision before they met him
Wierd
yes
though i didn't remember the vision till after the race
which was won by the grey, Special Portrait.
Thank you

Message in a Bottle
Each time we project our thoughts to future or past
we are there, in Spirit and 'reality' shifts
Time is not linear in nature
it has no bounds
but our memories do
Deja vu
Here is a message
from your beautiful self to your beautiful self
and you can re-send any time you wish

Look After YourSelf
We tend to spend more time looking after others than we do looking after ourselves - any parent will know that....
But in order to function well, we need to take care of number one also.
Everyday, setting aside some time for You, is not selfish, it is necessary, else who is the You looking out for others? It's a job half done if you are tired, fed up or put upon.
It's useful and good for your Soul; thinking of ways to make yourself happy for the moment, doing what makes you feel good, for a while; taking the 'ought', 'should' and 'have' to, out of the equation and just doing what feels right at the time....for you.
May your days be blessed and easy going...
